Home Mold Inspection and Sampling

Unchecked mold indoors can damage the structure of a home, cause wood rot, and ruin drywall. Most importantly, mold can cause negative health effects. A professional mold test starts with a thorough inspection of your property. We will investigate any signs of past or present water intrusion, which can promote mold growth, and will take samples of any suspected mold for laboratory analysis.

Mold and Your Home

During the home inspection we will be alert to indications of mold growth.
Mold sampling can be performed to determine the type of mold and and with air samples the concentration of mold.

Testing Methods

Depending on the individual situation, mold testing may involve direct sampling with swab or tape samples and/or sampling of the air in the home with a vacuum pump system.

Once samples are taken they are immediately shipped to a professional laboratory for analysis. A report is generated and sent to the client.
