Tom Witt founded Avocet Inspections LLC in 2009 after 22 years as a residential general contractor. He also has a background in sculpture and furniture making. A long time birder, Tom named the company after a favorite bird – The American Avocet.

Tom has inspected thousands of properties and is a Certified Master Inspector. He owned and operated a residential general contracting company for 22 years before becoming a home inspector.
